I've recently discovered my Rift change: I can reanimate the dead. I have spent my career examining the dead, I know better than most that it's an unfortunate, but necessary part of life. There is a delicate balance between life and death that we don't dare disrupt.

It's a terrible gift.

I know that for the duration of my time here, I will have to accept this as part of me, but I find myself deeply troubled by it.

Sounds like one hell of an ability there.

I'm sorry. Ain't easy for Wanderers in a lot of respects, but the changes the Rift gives y'all are unkind more often than not.

I would relinquish it if given the chance. Though I won't delude myself into believing that's a possibility, at least not as long as I remain here.

The changes given, as far as I know, can be controlled. Relinquishing may not be a possibility, but you're aware of what you can do, and trust me, there are some abilities that give a new definition to the world cruel.

I've met an angel of Death here. I imagine your duties can at times be just as difficult to carry out, and accept.

Yeah? They're pretty rare. You know, I feel like I'm blessed with my Calling, taking into consideration the other ones. No offense to any of them, but I guard and protect someone I greatly admire, and I'm at peace with that.
